The color of this turquoise comes from the concentration of zinc and copper content. The unique color makes it highly desirable and highly controlled. Very limited amounts of Carico Lake turquoise are in circulation.
About the artist: Roie Jacque is a silversmith born to three Native American tribes: Pueblo of Laguna Acoma, Chiricahua Apache, and Navajo. He learned silversmithing through his Navajo heritage.
